Our group focuses on the air-quality and energy-saving challenges in confined spaces. We are interested in the component transportation and separation at interfaces (including mass transfer of gaseous or solid-phase contaminants on indoor surfaces, advanced indoor air separation/purification technologies, air pollution sampling and analysis based on microfluidics and AIoT, and risk assessment of air pollution for public health). We also started to study the photovoltaic cells and building integrated photovoltaics (BIPV), data-driven energy efficiency optimization of buildings (this part led by Prof. Cheng FAN).
